Yes I know just about every photographer out there shoots weddings and I have shot my share. I interned with a great master of photography and practiced both getting the right shot at the right time to capture that special moment for the Bride & Groom and I also learned how to manage the business end as well. However the stress is something you can't imagine. No matter how practiced you are you always worry about something going wrong at the worst moment. For me it was the last wedding I shot 40 years ago when the Mother of the Bride had them stop the ceremony after the couple had said their vows and announced the photographer will now take pictures. Usually I work with the Wedding Party after the ceremony is over, but this time I had to perform in front of several hundred people. That was it. After that evening I put my camera down and didn't take another picture until digital photography came to be. I am happy to take pictures for you of just about anything, but please don't ask me to shoot another wedding!
